Conceived back in 2006, The Green Light Apparel & Home Decor was the dream business of a young woman who believed that a major change in lifestyle was needed in order to preserve all forms of life as we know it.  The establishment, originally an “eco-department store”, opened its doors in August of 2008 with only a few dozen vendors.  Within a short time it has since exploded as Missoula’s premiere eco-boutique that offers a lot more than just any conventional boutique.  Now in its new location, The Green Light resides in a beautiful brick building in the heart of downtown Missoula, Montana.  Quickly gaining popularity, it has won local awards for “Best New Business”, Best Green Business” and “Best Window Displays”.  It also supports and sponsors a variety of local, non-profit organizations and establishments throughout the year.
